In this course, participants will be exposed to real industrial practices in areas of pumps monitoring and diagnosis system, the technology used to identify problems and solutions to them. Upon knowing this vital information, the next phase will be into understanding practical pumps fundamentals, the function of critical pump parts overhaul, and inspection procedures based on internationally accepted practice and standard
Course Objectives
- State and describe the pumping team, nature of matters and fluid properties
- State and describe the types, components and constructions of centrifugal pumps & positive displacement pumps
- Describe the operation of various types of centrifugal pumps & positive displacements pumps
- Carry out simple troubleshooting activities on centrifugal pumps & positive displacement pumps
