Introduction

As result terminal operators/management need to understand and complied with the current regulation and safety standard which set by the several maritime organizations.

  • Importance of the tanker operation to refinery/terminal
  • Roles and responsibility of the personnel work force on board tanker
  • Type of tankers, design, capacity and parameters.
  • Understanding of tanker operation activities alongside terminal.
  • Identified potential hazard and risk of the tanker operation
  • Case study

Day 2

  • Preparation of tanker mooring operation and hoses/MLA connection.
  • Cargo operation- documentation and loading/Unloading operation.
  • Tanker cargo completion- Hoses/MLA disconnection and Unmooring operation.
  • Problem and troubleshooting-(Mooring, Ship/shore interface issue and cargo handling)
  • Tanker Challengers- External factors affect the operation-Weather, Pandemic, Politics, etc.
  • Case Study
  • Group discussion and brainstorming of the participant.
  • Presentation of the group discussion.
