ADVANCE S7 300 / 400 PLC SIEMENS TRAINING

This Hands-On training provide participants to learn introduction to PLC, programming software, basic programming, monitoring and troubleshooting of system. On completion of this training the participants will be able to start the designing, developing and implementing the basic system algorithms as well as modifying and editing the algorithm based on requirement.

OBJECTIVES

This training will cover the advance siemens training for S7
300/400 controller (PLC) in order to provide hands on for
modification and editing devices.
Upon completion of this course, the participant shall be
able to:

  • Understand the steps of software and hardware
    selection.
  • Program and configure the s7 300/400 Siemens PLC.
  • Program and Configure the Programable Logic
    Controller (PLC).
  • Connect Sensors/Actuators to PLC.
  • Modifying and editing the algorithm

COURSE CONTENT

  • Day 1: Introduction to PLC:
    • Introduction to the S7 family of controllers and
      concepts of the programming software
    • Project creation and operation using Simatic Manager
    • Hardware configuration of S7 300/400 systems
    • System overview of SIMATIC controller families
    • Module installation and wiring
    • PLC Simulation, upload and Download program in PLC
      Simulator
    • Communication with PLC, upload and Download
      program in PLC
    • Compile the Ladder
  • Day 2: Introduction to Software and Basic Programming
    • Project Ladder of Logic Gates (NOT, AND, NAND, OR, NOR,
      X-OR & X-NOR)
    • Program Status (Diagnosing the PLC Program Real Time)
    • Programming using the LAD/STL/FBD Editor
    • Binary operations – N/O, N/C, Set, Reset, edge detection
    • Digital operations – Accumulators, timers, counters,
      comparators
    • Analog value processing
    • Linear v/s structured programming approach
    • Effective programming using function and function blocks
  • Day 3: Monitoring and troubleshooting
    • Tools for troubleshooting and debugging
    • Significance of LED indication on different
      modules
    • Diagnosis using diagnostic buffer
    • Cross-references, call structure, assignment list,
      dependency structure
    • Memory overlap identification
    • Project backup
    • Forcing, renaming, and rewiring concepts
    • Project comparison
