Course Objectives

• Fundamentals of cathodic protection
  – Sacrificial anode CP systems
  – Impressed current CP systems
  – CP systems for pipelines, tanks, offshore jackets, jetties, and reinforced concrete
• Installation of CP systems

• Specialized CP and corrosion surveys
• Troubleshooting CP systems
• Quality assurance and quality control
