There is an increasing demand for trained blasters & painters qualified to undertake the additional responsibilities of supervisors in blasting and painting. This course is to upgrade these blasters and painters who wish to gain advanced skills in surface preparation and paint application and paint application quality for the Blasting and Painting Supervisor.

Objectives

This training aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills:

• To understand how protective coatings can effectively control corrosion
• to ensure surface preparation is proprely carried out
• To ensure proper application of paints
• Awareness of coating defects
