This certification was introduced to certify and upgrade individuals with coating inspection / QAQC background. There are two levels available for personnel to pursue their career path as a coating/painting inspector.
Objectives
This course is designed to train participants with the knowledge and skills to:
Specify protective coating / paint system to a variety substrates
Supervise the preparation of subsrates prior to painting
Supervise the application of paint coatings
Conduct inspections and quality control to satisfy government, industry and union minimum standards

Who Should Attend
Any personnel who wish to begin a career in this field but have little or no experience. Also suits for painting technicians, painting supervisors, painting inspectors, painting engineers, general inspectors (GI), and Materials, Corrosion & Inspection (MCI) Engineers/Managers who want to certify their work experience for the job documentation.
Pre-Requisites
IMM CI Level 2: Certified with IMM Certified Coating Inspector Level 1 and with minimum of 6 months’ work experience in related field.
