This year’s theme reflects the growing industry requirement for proactive, integrated corrosion management frameworks driven by data-centric decision making, sustainability imperatives, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Emphasis is placed on transitioning from traditional reactive maintenance practices toward predictive and risk-based approaches, including risk-based inspection (RBI), risk-based maintenance (RBM), and integrity operating windows (IOW), to improve asset reliability, safety, and lifecycle performance.
Advances in digitalisation such as smart corrosion monitoring, advanced non-destructive testing (NDT), corrosion modelling, data analytics, and digital twin technologies are enabling earlier identification of degradation mechanisms and more effective mitigation planning. These capabilities support informed intervention strategies that reduce unplanned downtime, optimise maintenance expenditure, and ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
The 1-day conference will be comprised of three (3) parallel technical sessions, dedicated to specialised corrosion and materials integrity disciplines. The sessions will feature in-depth technical papers, analytical failure investigations, and field-proven case studies addressing corrosion damage mechanisms, materials degradation, coating and insulation systems, inspection and monitoring technologies, and mitigation strategies.
The conference will include two (2) half-day sessions specifically focused on Materials Failure Investigation and Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI).
While traditionally associated with oil & gas and petrochemical facilities, corrosion challenges are increasingly prevalent across a wide range of industries, including power generation, marine and offshore structures, water and wastewater treatment, transportation and rail systems, construction and civil infrastructure, manufacturing plants, renewable energy installations, and chemical processing facilities. The conference aims to address these cross-industry corrosion issues by promoting knowledge transfer, shared best practices, and practical solutions applicable across diverse operating environments.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND ?
Corrosion engineers & specialists, materials & metallurgy professionals, Integrity, inspection & reliability engineers, plant owners, operators & maintenance teams, researchers, academics & postgraduate students, coating, insulation & NDT professionals, technology providers, vendors & consultants
